This is a shop-review about the Chinese/International www.iBuygou.com. The first time that I have reviewed this webshop, was in August 2013.
Meanwhile I have placed approximately 10 orders. Most of the orders contained Xiaomi devices with Android.
It’s time to write another review of this Chinese webshop.

Common
The first time I’ve heard about this web-shop was in November/December 2012. I was searching for a Xiaomi, Oppo and Meizu phone. I noticed that this website had a lot of different brands and it gave the impression that it can ship the phones and accessories within a few days. Sometimes you will see new gadgets that are not in stock, but are pre-orders. This way you are informed that it could take a while before it will be shipped.
The site can be confusing for new users. Some products have a Chinese and International version. There are also different configurations of the same phone. This is something you need to keep in mind before you please an order.
Shipment
After payment, they usually ship within 1-3 working days. Shipment from China to The Netherlands will take about 2-4 days. It doesn’t really matter if there is a weekend between shipment and arrival. The last shipments took about 4 days. This was caused due to delays at Brussels and Eindhoven.
After-sales
I did not needed the after-sales department for returning any goods. I have had many conversations with the staff of iBuygou and they are very friendly on Facebook and Skype.
English is not the native language for the staff, but they can express themselves in a very good way and they seem to be very enthusiastic. It is like you are talking to real people instead of a person who has a list of standard/non-personal answers. I am sure that they receive a lot of mails from all over the world, but they usually answer your mail within a day.
Reason I choose this webshop
The webshop has become my favorite site to order Xiaomi products. They are one of the few international webshops who are in direct contact with Xiaomi. They sell their phones and tablets with the original ROM and this makes it very easy to install the international Xiaomi.eu ROM. They are one of the first suppliers who are able to have new Xiaomi products in stock. The price is a bit higher than competitors, but you are certain that you will receive a genuine product with the original ROM.
If you are searching for Xiaomi products, than this is the recommended webshop you need to look at!
If you are searching for other Chinese phones, then you need to consider this webshop as well. The price is comparable with other webshops.

Important notice for all international orders
On top of the shipping costs, you should keep in mind that you might need to pay taxes and handling fees to the postorder company. iBuygou gives you the possibility to add an insurance to your package. With this insurance they will pay all the extra costs (VAT and Handling fees). For a product with a value of $500,-, the insurance will be $26,05. For a product with a value of $150,-, it will be $8,55.
iBuygou also gives you the possibility to ship your order via one of the European warehouses. Please be aware that the shipping costs could be higher in comparison with Chinese shipping costs. The best thing about shipping within Europe, is that you don’t have to pay import fees. Please check this page for the countries that are supported.
Note: To this day, I never had to pay extra VAT or handling fees for my orders via iBuygou. This doesn’t mean that it won’t happen to me the next time.
